eu, aos 52
god knows how i adore life
when the wind turns on the shore lies another day
i cannot ask for more
and when the timebell blows my heart
and i have scored a better day
well nobody made this war of mine
and the moments that i enjoy
a place of love and mystery
i'll be there anytime
oh mysteries of love where war is no more
i'll be there anytime
and when the timebell blows my heart
and i have scored a better day
well nobody made this war of mine
and the moments that i enjoy
a place of love and mystery
i'll be there anytime
mysteries of love where war is no more
i'll be there anytime

a minha canção preferida dos stones. eles hoje vêm ver-me ao rock in rio.

No rio humano, fazemos escolhas.

I walked across an empty land
I knew the pathway like the back of my hand
I felt the earth beneath my feet
Sat by the river and it made me complete
Oh! Simple thing, where have you gone?
I'm getting tired and I need someone to rely on
I came across a fallen tree
I felt the branches of it looking at me
Is this the place we used to love?
Is this the place that I've been dreaming of?
Oh! Simple thing, where have you gone?
I'm getting old and I need something to rely on
So tell me when you're gonna let me in
I'm getting tired and I need somewhere to begin
And if you have a minute why don't we go
Talk about it somewhere only we know?
This could be the end of everything
So why don't we go
Somewhere only we know?
I knew the pathway like the back of my hand
I felt the earth beneath my feet
Sat by the river and it made me complete
Oh! Simple thing, where have you gone?
I'm getting tired and I need someone to rely on

And if you have a minute why don't we go
Talk about it somewhere only we know?

new year's resolution / revisão de maio
all i ever wanted was someone to rely on
all i ever wanted was somewhere to call home

from france, avec love
isto é um gigantesco pastiche - ou não fosse made in france - mas ouve-se muito bem.
why other people have such bad taste
"It’s a mind-blowingly unending river of material. They could probably have a million things because Dylan was at the epicenter of American culture."
The Jazz Standards
how was I supposed to know
como se não tivesse sabido sempre,
and all them love sick songs... well, they got true meaning
um pedaço do meu coração faz hoje 18
For they told you life is hard
Misery from the start, it's dull,
It's slow, it's painful
But I tell you life is sweet
In spite of the misery
There's so much more, be grateful
So who will you believe
Who will you listen to
Who will it be
Because it's high time that you decide
It's time to make up your own
Your own state of mind
Misery from the start, it's dull,
It's slow, it's painful
But I tell you life is sweet
In spite of the misery
There's so much more, be grateful
So who will you believe
Who will you listen to
Who will it be
Because it's high time that you decide
It's time to make up your own
Your own state of mind
your daddy, the war machine, the iron man, a battleship wrecked on dry land
